This row will give you a total body workout inside 45 minutes, or 40 minutes if you are a 500 metre every 2 minutes. The only downer to this type of row is the time. The longer you sit on a rowing machine the more boring it gets. Make sure you have some decent music or videos to watch.

100,000 metres is one of those weekly or monthly challenges that you give yourself. Go online and look for others that are doing it and join in. At the same time you can workout how you want to do it by assigning times and dates that you will row.
